Approvals and receipts
Quox is built on one idea: you should not have to trust an agent, you should be able to check it. Two things make that real. When an agent wants to do something that matters, it stops and asks a human first. And every action leaves a record in WARD, a tamper-evident chain, that you can verify from your own terminal.
These guides start with saying yes or no, then show how to check a single receipt, then the whole chain.
- Say yes or no to a risky step When an agent wants to do something that matters, it stops and asks you. Answer in the conversation, or from any shell. Checked on the CLI 3 min
- Check a receipt yourself Take one thing an agent did and verify, from your own terminal, that it was recorded and signed and has not been changed since. Checked on the CLI 4 min
- Check the chain has not been changed Verify a stretch of the witness chain, link by link and signature by signature, from your own terminal. Checked on the CLI 3 min
- Pre-approve a narrow lane For routine work you trust, grant one host one kind of command for a few days, instead of answering every request. Checked on the CLI 4 min
